Senior Configuration Management Analyst

Summary Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Configuration Management Analyst who will help develop and implement Configuration Management (CM) processes, author documentation/policy and apply CM best practices for a hypersonic development program working to establish formal CM processes.
This individula will assist the Crane CPS CM lead in formulating big picture strategic ideas to drive CM strategy for the program, including CM processes for the CPS HWIL test environment, help the program obtain technical and data driven solutions, and evaluate and recommend engineering, CM, and DM tools.
The Senior Configuration Management Analyst will apply sound configuration management practices to ever evolving technical program baseline(s), and ensure configuration items are correct, complete, and consistent in compliance with technical and programmatic requirements.
This position will require interaction with a variety of Government National Team program stakeholders (government, Prime Contractor, National Labs) as well as various government/contractor working groups that span functional areas (systems engineering, hardware and software engineering, and logistics).
This position must be filled in Crane, IN and requires regular access to classified information.
Responsibilities Responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system.
Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications.
Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
Prepare deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
Review all issued document change requests, document change notices, and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness, and proper signatures.
Help structure and maintain databases.
Submit engineering changes to customers for review and approval, maintain records and submit reports regarding status.
Prepare configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs.

years' experience (5
years in Configuration Mgmt) Formal Configuration Management certificate (i.
e.
, CMII, CMPIC, CMTF) CM leadership experience Background in Software CM (SCM) Experience with Agile processes is desired DoD Acquisition program experience Navy and developmental program CM experience preferred PMP or DAWIA Level II or III certification is desired Experience with a variety of Product Life Cycle Management and Data Management and Software CM Tools Windchill and Aras experience is desired Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and experience with model management are desired Secret security clearance required The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief.

Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
