TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Undersea Sensors Quality & Test Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.
This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043).
Responsibilities You will serve as the Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Facility Technical Lead in Undersea Sensors Quality and Test Branch (GXPW).
You will provides technical expertise for quality assurance, training, and project planning and execution for various undersea sensors, including TR-343 and TR-317 transducers and their associated cables.
You will lead other personnel, manage and coordinate workload amongst the team, and creating and maintaining schedules in coordination with the Undersea Sensors Management Branch (GXPS), Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Providing technical leadership on engineering projects involving the testing and evaluation of undersea sensors systems and subsystems to support the advancement of hydrostatic testing.
