Overview ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (F3500 2024-20296):
Bowhead seeks an experienced Electronics Technician Maintenance to join our team in Crane, INThe Electronics Technician Maintenance team identifies and resolves equipment malfunctions, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance and must be capable of reading blueprints, schematics and engineering instructions of the assembly of electronic unitsThey also assist in writing reports and recording data as it relates to testing techniques, laboratory equipment and specificationsResponsibilities Essential functions will include:
o Assembling electrical and electronic systems and prototypeso Building, calibrating, and repairing electrical instruments or testing equipmento Inspecting drawings and designs for quality control, report findings, and make recommendations to the lead engineero Performing all manners of depot maintenance to specified Electronic Systemso Helping to build prototypes from rough sketches or plans, under the engineers' directiono Assembling, testing and maintaining circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronicso Adjusting and replacing defective circuitry and electronic componentso Supporting multiple NIIN's for AN/ALR-169/ALQ-184, OE-120 and other Solid State and Power Module systems.
o Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, test of CCA's and assemblies.
o Other duties as assigned Qualificationso High School Diploma or equivalent is required at a minimum, however experience is crucial and therefore additional experience will be considered in lieu of any formal educationo An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology is highly desiredo At least five to eight (5-8) years of experience in an Electronics Technician and/or Maintenance role is requiredo Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), High voltage training, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and associated training is required to perform the duties in designated work areaso Must meet the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and/or Society for Protective Coatings (formerly Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC) certification requirementso Must possess solder certification to IPC requirements such as IPC J-STD-001, IPC 7711/7721 or Miniature/Micro-miniature (2M) certification standardso Basic to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointo Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactso Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands:
o Must be able to lift up to 25 poundso Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeo Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
